Spent a week on a canal boat and dined here on the way up the canal, and on the way back to return the boat. Both times, the food was amazing – I honestly have never seen so much fresh, thickly sliced ham on a plate – along with two eggs and chips! The staff are efficient and friendly and the beer’s good too. A lovely pub sitting on the bank of the canal – well worth a visit.
